Artist's Comments
For our first project in Model Creation, we had to build an island scene featuring a tiki hut, a fire pit, a palm tree, wooden benches and a canoe. As usual, I had to add a few personal touches.
This 3D scene is rendered with rudimentary lighting through Mental Ray. We haven't learned yet how to recreate water or simulate refraction, so everything here is made of Maya's default Play-Doh-like material. |
